Barbeque Nation Parent United Foodbrands Shares Gain Nearly 5% After Q1FY27 Results; Revenue Jumps 43.4% YoY

United Foodbrands Ltd. posted a net profit of ₹3 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, compared with a net loss of ₹16.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, as per exchange filings dated August 4, 2026.
The improvement came as the restaurant operator reported higher sales and better operating performance during the period. It adopted the name United Foodbrands Ltd. in September 2025, replacing its earlier corporate name, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd.
The company operates brands including Barbeque Nation, Toscano, Salt, and several other restaurant chains.
Revenue and Operating Earnings Increase
Revenue from operations rose to ₹426 crore during the quarter from ₹297 crore a year earlier, an increase of 43.4%. EBITDA stood at ₹70 crore, compared with ₹46 crore in the same quarter last year.
EBITDA margin improved to 16.4% from 15.5%, expanding by 90 basis points. The increase in operating profit was supported by higher sales during the quarter.

Growth in Existing Restaurants
The company reported consolidated same-store sales growth of 28.7% year-on-year. Dine-in volumes across its restaurant network increased 63.5% compared with the June quarter last year.
The quarterly presentation showed that growth was recorded across its business segments. Higher customer visits during the period contributed to the increase in revenue and operating earnings.
Expansion Remains on Schedule
United Foodbrands added 5 restaurants during the quarter, taking its total network to 266 outlets. The company said it remains on track to cross 300 restaurants before the end of the current financial year.
Its long-term expansion target also remains unchanged. The company plans to operate between 400 and 425 restaurants by FY2030.
