JTL Industries Share Price in Focus; Subsidiary to Double Narrow-Width HR Coil Capacity

JTL Industries has announced that its subsidiary, JTL Engineering Limited, will spend around ₹15 crore to increase its narrow-width HR coil manufacturing capacity, as per the exchange filing.
Capacity to Double
JTL Engineering currently makes around 5,000 MT of HR coils every month. After expansion, this will increase to 10,000 MT per month.
The company will also be able to make wider, narrow-width HR coils. The maximum width will increase from 9 inches to 11 inches.
More Products Can Be Made
The higher capacity and wider coil size will allow JTL Engineering to make more types of narrow-width HR coils. This will help the company meet different product requirements from its customers.
Uses Scrap and Sponge Iron
JTL Engineering uses sponge iron and steel scrap as its main raw materials. The company said using steel scrap helps in better use of raw materials and also supports its recycling efforts.
About JTL Industries
JTL Industries is a steel tube and pipe manufacturer based in Chandigarh. It has manufacturing facilities in Punjab, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Himachal Pradesh.
The company has total pipe manufacturing capacity of around 9.36 lakh tonnes per year. Its products include structural pipes, GI pipes, MS black pipes, hollow sections, solar structures, and HR coils.
